Refund And Returns Policy

Hudson Valley Fire Pits are eligible for replacement if the item arrives damaged or broken. Otherwise all sales are final.

Replacement Eligibility

Over 19 years only 2 out of 2400 shipments have been damaged!

Hudson Valley Fire Pits may arrive with some marks or scratches due to the fact that they are made from recycled materials. These scratches are considered to add history and character rather than being a defect eligible for return. Any scratches to the patina will self-heal over time and eventually disappear.

The patina takes time to fully develop and may not match photos on the website immediately. More information about patina can be found in the FAQ Page.

How to Initiate a replacement

If your Hudson Valley Fire Pit arrives damaged or broken, please call or email me immediately. You should refuse delivery, and document the damage while the delivery driver is still present. I will need to see photos of the damage in order to approve replacement.

If replacement is approved, I will ship a new identical item as quickly as possible.

Commissions and Custom Designs

Commissions and custom designs are excluded from the above policy: I will refund deposits if no materials have been purchased and no work has begun. Once the deposit has been spent on materials or I have begun the piece, the deposit is no longer refundable.

If for any reason you are unhappy with a finished commission or custom design, I will make a reasonable effort to help you resell it but custom work is not eligible for return or refund.
